When Dolack joined DIRT as the World of Outlaws Sprint Series PR Director at the beginning of the 2005 season his experience and professionalism quickly earned him the respect of drivers, teams, reproduction street lights promoters and fans alike. E[acute accent]Dolack has been hooked on racing since he watched Bobby Unser hold off Mario Andretti to win the 1981 Indianapolis 500. He was later able to turn his passion for the sport and its personalities into a career as a newspaper and magazine writer, editor and designer. As an editor at Auto Racing Digest, he brought the World of Outlaws to the magazine's readership several times before shifting to Western Pennsylvania and a role at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. There he was able to combine his skills as an editor and designer by covering the many short tracks in the region, including Lernerville Speedway, and producing a weekly racing page that carried his column. In 2001, Lernerville honored him with the Bill Steinbach Media Award for his support and promotion of auto racing through his column at the Post-Gazette.
